HTC One camera

It's all about balancing sensor size, pixel size and file size, says HTC's Symon Whitehorn

One of the more controversial engineering decisions made in the new HTC One was the choice to go with a 4-megapixel rear camera, but with advanced optics and larger individual pixels. After all, we've been conditioned to see the overall

Product placement is nothing new, however at the same time we don’t always see press release announcements, contests and promotional offers built up around it. Enter Alcatel, who have recently announced that the One Touch Idol smartphone is going to be featured in Marvel’s upcoming Iron Man 3 movie. For those curious about the movie, you can expect it to be in theaters as of May 3.

Blackberry To Continue Making New Blackberry 7 Devices, But Limits Their Availability To Select Regions

While the update to Blackberry 7 might have been something of a big deal back then, it did not prevent Blackberry (formerly known as RIM) to lose ground to platforms such as iOS and Android. With the release of Blackberry 10, many assumed this would be how Blackberry would regain some of its former market share and would push as hard as they can to get Blackberry 10 into as many hands as possible. Interestingly though, that does not seem to be the case.

Is This The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Plus? [Rumor]

If history is anything to go by, we can expect Samsung to make some announcements at IFA taking place later this year, and previous reports have suggested that the South Korean company could be taking the wraps off the Galaxy Tab 3 and the Galaxy Note 3 at the event. Now thanks to the folks at SamMobile, they have received a couple of photos of a device that allegedly is that of the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus. Their tipper claims that the device will no longer be known as that, but will instead be rebranded to the Galaxy S Tab. Samsung is apparently taking advantage of the popularity of their Galaxy S lineup of Android smartphones, and will supposedly deploy the same marketing strategies for this device as well.

Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 Goes The Jelly Bean Route

For owners of the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2, now is the time to rejoice! This update works as long as your device carries the model number GT-i8160.
